We deliver workshops and self-defence classes for children, men and women in the community concerned about the increasingly dangerous society that we live in.
Our workshops consider that victims and attackers come in all shapes and sizes. We explore the importance of location, terrain and different fighting ranges.
Self-awareness of potential dangers and de-escalation techniques to diffuse conflicts are essential to prevent violence. Our workshops cover these topics in great detail.
We understand how our bodies react under the threat of violence and help our clients to cope with fear of conflict and hormonal responses to fight or flight. Our training methods teach how to remain calm under pressure and so choose the right course of action.
Our fighting techniques originate from several martial arts including Karate, Aikido, Jujitsu and Muay Thai. All of the striking and defensive techniques that we teach are practical, easy to remember and have been ‘pressure tested’ for effectiveness in real life scenarios.
It’s important to stay on the right side of the law when using violence for self-defence so our workshops cover the law, reasonable force and intent.
